Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American comedian, actor and activist. Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents She began her career as a child actress shortly after immigrating to the United States. Her appearances as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials between 2013 and 2016 - and from 2020 on - has made her famous. She was a regular host of the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She was also an actor on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016–2017). After being featured in the unaired TV pilot for New Warriors, Vayntrub also is the voice of Squirrel Girl on Marvel Rising. Vayntrub is a Jewish person, was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. When she was just two, she immigrated together with her parents to the U.S. to escape antisemitism. She settled in West Hollywood. The financial struggles of her family resulted in her appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of five. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. After her sophomore year, she dropped out and got a GED. She went on however to earn the Bachelor of Arts Communication degree from the University of California San Diego. She studied improv comedy with the Upright Citizens Brigade.
