 Jimmy Donaldson, born May 7, 1998, better known by his alias MrBeast is an American YouTuber, entrepreneur, and an philanthropist. 6 He is credited for creating the YouTube video style that focuses on extravagant stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson began posting videos to YouTube in 2012, at 13 years old under the name "MrBeast6000" and his initial content included everything from "Let's Plays to "videos that estimated the amount of money other YouTubers have." After his 2017 "Counting to 100,000" video was viewed by tens and thousands of views in a matter of days, Donaldson was an instant YouTube star. His early content included Let's Plays as well as videos that estimated the amount of money other YouTubers have. Donaldson hired many of his former classmates as assistants to manage his growing channel. The MrBeast channel had a subscriber count of 60 in 2022. It had reached 100 million subscribers on the 28th of July 2022
